Meet Madeleine Reynard: The Organisational Force Behind Accelagen
Find out what Accelagen’s EA and Office Manager, Madeleine Reynard, loves about her role keeping our fast-growing team connected and organised.
If you’ve been around Accelagen for even a short while, chances are you’ve already met Madeleine Reynard. Our Executive Assistant & Office Manager, or the friendly face (and formidable force) behind what we do, is transforming the way we operate since joining the team less than a year ago.
Taking the leap
Before joining Accelagen, Madeleine spent over a decade at St. Vincent’s Private Hospital, working closely with senior leadership in orthopaedics. Having just returned from her second parental leave, she was ready for a new challenge.
“I loved my job, but I’d been doing the same thing for so long—I needed something fresh. I wasn’t actively looking for a job, but when Accelagen came up, everything just fell into place.”
Curious about being on the other side of things, Madeleine’s vast experience with clinical trials and research departments in a well-established metropolitan hospital made the transition to the CRO-side a natural fit.
Building scalable systems and culture
In her own words, Madeleine describes her role as EA and Office Manager as being like “the bumper for everyone.” If someone has a question or a problem, she’s the first port of call.
When she joined in April 2024, Accelagen was growing at an incredible rate, but accelerated growth is not without its challenges. With 40% of our staff now working interstate or remotely, building team connection and cohesion is crucial.
“Three weeks in, I helped introduce an induction process—even though I was new myself! It was the perfect way to learn the business inside out while making it easier for others to integrate.”
From streamlining meetings to implementing new policies and procedures, Madeleine has been pivotal in making sure the company scales efficiently but maintains its friendly feel. “As we’ve expanded, it’s been all about creating structure while keeping the culture intact,” she shares.
Scaling culture & connection
Madeleine has played a key role in ensuring our rapidly growing team feels connected and well supported, but also part of something bigger.
From nurturing a charity partnership with the Alannah & Madeline Foundation, to collecting groceries for the Foodbank Australia Food Drive, she’s proud to be part of a team that does its part to help the community, in addition to our mission of helping to solve some of the world’s most pressing health and wellness issues.
“Culture is just as important as operations. People need to feel part of something bigger, no matter where they are. The culture here is incredible—everyone is approachable, helpful, and willing to collaborate. From my first day, everyone told me, ‘If you need anything, just ask.’ You don’t get that everywhere.”
A problem-solver at heart
What makes Madeleine so good at what she does?
“I’m organised, but more than that, I love helping people. I’m solution-oriented—I don’t just want to hear about a problem, I want to fix it. I also try to be approachable, so people feel comfortable coming to me.”
Her curiosity has also driven her to learn more about the niche world of biometrics, biostatistics, and clinical trial management—an area she admits she knew little about before.
“It’s fascinating to see the full lifecycle of a clinical trial, how the rebate system works, and why Australia is such a sought-after location for global trials.”

Looking ahead…
Madeleine’s role has already evolved significantly, and she’s excited to continue shaping it.
“I’ve built this role from the ground up, which is incredibly rewarding. The induction process, team-building efforts, and cultural initiatives are just the beginning. As Accelagen grows, I’m looking forward to growing with it.”
Whether it’s fine-tuning operations, strengthening team connections, or solving the daily dilemmas of a fast-growing company, Accelagen is proud to have women like Madeleine at the heart of supporting it all.
