“Our key role is to gain study approval quickly and ensure that we meet all ethics and regulatory perspective to that provides a solid foundation to embark on a new program effectively,” Lisa explains. This focus on speed with quality defines the team’s approach to staying ahead of the complexity of clinical trials.
Unique roles and responsibilities
Each member of the SSU team contributes distinct qualities which lead to the team’s success:
Kim Gleeson, Study Startup Specialist, emphasizes the importance of staying agile and thinking on your feet, “It’s about jumping when you need to jump, and having the ability to quickly switch from one study to another.”
May Lin Yap, Senior Startup Associate, brings a diverse skill set from previous CROs, and highlights the collaborative environment of Accelagen, “Being part of a smaller CRO, we have a great opportunity to be involved in diverse roles and take on more responsibilities.”
While Tomalika Rahmat Ullah, Study Startup Associate, leverages her experience in site engagement and submissions, “Staying on top of updated regulations and processes is essential for our success.”
