Accelagen Staff Announcement – Dominique

Accelagen team

Wrangling kids down at Auskick and wrangling the many moving parts of a clinical trial is all in a day’s work for Accelagen’s new Clinical Project Manager, Dominique Holden.

Bringing over 10 years’ experience in clinical research and an exemplary approach to trial management, Dominique was drawn to Accelagen’s reputation as a family-owned business that prioritises flexibility, culture, and espouses a strong ‘can do’ attitude.

With a Bachelor of Applied Science (Biomedical), she began her career as a Clinical Support Specialist at top tier pharmaceutical company GlaxoSmithKline (GSK), working across safety management, distribution, and site payments.

More recently, she has worked with world-renowned CROs Novotech and INC Research in a variety of clinical research and project manager roles, managing a variety of trials at site level and quickly accelerating into senior positions.

With extensive therapeutic experience covering Phase I to III studies across the disease spectrum from oncology to infectious diseases, Dominique also has vast experience in a number of global markets including ANZ and South Africa.

Excitingly, she also collaborated closely with our Director of Clinical Operations, Rosa Plunkett, during her days at Novotech, keen to come on board and forge strong relationships with Accelagen’s innovative global partners.

Since joining in 2023, Dominique has fast become a critical part of the clinical team, overseeing key accounts and working side by side with our clients to co-create meaningful outcomes that have a tangible impact on the future of human health.

Embodying Accelagen’s streamlined approach and a commitment to working collaboratively and strategically, Dominique brings a strong foundation in clinical research experience and an open-mindedness that makes her an extremely valuable addition to our experienced and diverse team.

Of course, at Accelagen, we know that people have well-rounded lives far beyond the job they do, and true to form, Dominique has three young girls, runs the local Auskick with her partner, is an avid bike rider, and also an accomplished pianist.

Please give Dominique a warm Accelagen welcome, and if you are interested in bringing your experience and enthusiasm to the team, please visit our Careers page.
